16.00 Opening of a show of Rolling Stones memorabilia at the library

20.00 Gissur Páll tenor and Árni Heiðar pianist – Classical concert at the music school (Hamrar) – famous Icelandic songs as well as European ones. Costs 2000 kr.

22.00-01.00 Denni and Maggi Trausta troubadours at Húsið


Friday November 2

13.30-15.00 Free acting class for children with Elfar Logi at Hamrar.

17.00 Art show opening at Edinborg hallway. The artists are: Jón Sigurpálsson, Nina Ivanova, Pétur Guðmundsson, Gunnar Jónsson, Ólöf Björk Oddsdóttir and Ólöf Dómhildur Jóhannsdóttir.

19.00 Cosy night with Ylfa Mist at Bræðraborg (starts with dinner: Miso soup, sushi and chocolate mousse. Ylfa  Mist will start singing around 21.00. Dinner and concert: 3.900 kr. Concert only: 1.000 kr.

21.30 Pub Quiz at Kaffi Ísól

22.00-00.00 Beer Bingo at Edinborg Bistró

23.30-03.00 Nonni and Ívar play for guests at Húsið


Saturday November 3

11.00-16.00 Long Saturday in Ísafjörður. The tradition is that all the stores are open a little bit longer than usual and usually have some good deals for customers.

13.00 Thundering horns at Neisti (Where Samkaup is). Three brass bands from the Ísafjörður music school will play at in front of Samkaup.

13.00 Photographic deed in Hamraborg where people can come and have their picture taken.

14.00 House reading at the Library. Discussions about and reading from the books of Þórleifur Bjarnason.

14.00-16.00 Music at home. The Ísafjörður Music School in cooperation with various homes in Ísafjörður invite people to various homes in Ísafjörður where students will perform, people can come and listen to different performances at different houses and get coffee and pastries while enjoying the music.

16.00 Knitting Olympics at Bræðraborg. Competitors will compete in 10 garter speed knitting, 30 garter long-distance knitting and 4x10 garter relay knitting.

17.00 The cat that goes its own way. Children’s play at Edinborg.

13.00-15.00 Children’s art day at Edinborg.

Sunday November 4

13.30 The Ísafjörður Music School’s piano student’s concert. Free entrance.

17.00 Big choir concert – Choirs in the Westfjords have a concert at Ísafjarðarkirkja (Church of Ísafjörður).  Entrence is kr. 1500 and will pay for costs, but everything extra will be put to goodwill.

19.30 LRÓ dance student’s exhibition at Neðstikaupstaður. This year’s exhibition is called Forgotten.

20.00 Candle floating on the sea at Neðstikaupstaður (where the kayak club is)
